🚀 I Tried This New Android 16 QPR1 Custom ROM 🔥 Euclid OS – First Look, Features & Verdict
A fresh Android 16 QPR1 custom ROM experience. Clean UI, smooth animations and early Android 16 vibes.
Android 16 QPR1 custom ROMs are slowly starting to appear, and Euclid OS is one of the newer names gaining attention.
I flashed this ROM to check what’s new, how stable it feels, and whether it’s actually worth trying right now. Here’s my honest first-look experience.
📦 What is Euclid OS?
Euclid OS is a modern AOSP-based custom ROM built on Android 16 QPR1. It focuses on:
- Clean Pixel-style UI
- Smooth animations
- Stability over unnecessary features
Instead of heavy customization, the ROM aims to deliver a refined daily-use experience with Android 16’s latest changes.
✨ First Impressions & UI
Right after booting, Euclid OS feels surprisingly polished for an early Android 16 ROM.
- 🎨 Clean Pixel-like interface
- ⚡ Smooth scrolling & transitions
- 📱 New Android 16 QPR1 UI touches
- 🔔 Refined notification animations
Nothing feels experimental or broken at first glance, which is impressive for a QPR1-based ROM.
⚙️ Performance & Daily Usage
In daily usage, Euclid OS performs better than expected. Apps open quickly, UI remains consistent, and there are no random lags.
- 🚀 Fast app launch times
- 🧠 Good RAM management
- 🔥 No overheating in normal use
Battery backup is decent for a QPR1 ROM, though long-term performance will improve with future updates.
🧪 Bugs & Known Issues
Since this is still an early Android 16 QPR1 build, a few things may vary by device:
- Minor UI glitches (rare)
- Some device-specific features may not work
- Banking apps may require fixes on rooted setups
Nothing major showed up during my testing, but this ROM is still better suited for enthusiasts.
